Giving Should Strengthen Local Priorities
Friends of Dago exists to resource community-led priorities, not replace local decision-making. Donations support work shaped by Dago Dala Hera and community leadership and are stewarded through Friends of Dago’s U.S. nonprofit structure.
Current Giving Options
Choose from ten dedicated giving forms: the seven established funds below and three new options for Nutrition & Feeding, Agriculture & Food Systems, and Women’s Livelihoods. All existing funds, form IDs and donor records have been preserved. Each new form states its purpose and supports community-guided priorities within that fund. A Friends of Dago gift does not automatically become a donation to One Way Out-led Threads of Hope, Greener Nairobi, or another independently managed partner project. Ask us before donating if you intend to support a particular separately led project. Give to Food Security & Women’s Opportunity
Choose a dedicated Friends of Dago giving purpose. Local leadership guides priorities and how resources are used within each fund. Nutrition & Feeding
Support Dago’s community-guided feeding activities, food supplies and nutrition needs.
Agriculture & Food Systems
Support locally guided farming, livestock, greenhouses and resilient food production in Dago.
Women’s Livelihoods
Support Dago women’s enterprise learning, practical skills and locally guided livelihoods—not an automatic gift to a separate partner-led program.
Education
Support learning, scholarships, school resources, and educational opportunity.
Health
Support community health outreach and health-related initiatives.
Housing
Support safer homes and dignity-centered housing initiatives.
Youth & Sports
Support sports, mentoring, leadership, and youth engagement.

Support the community resource center and its role as a local platform for connection and service.

Support classroom furniture and school learning conditions through the existing Desk Project fund.
